GREAT NEWS!

Ok, we are stunned, speechless, literally.
Not only did the oncologist just come in to check on Lori, he also brought the path report.

NO MELANOMA!!!!!

When the oncologist did the PET scan, he was 99% sure it was melanoma. 1% baby, crazy odds, but we'll take 'em!

We don't know what to say or think. We didn't expect any news until Friday. We can't thank everyone enough for all of your prayers, thoughts and well wishes.

Stunned. Completely Stunned.
More to come...
Bobby

Big exhale. Wow. Wishing you many more blessings, Lori. Recover quickly and in peace and the joy in the midst of anything that makes you 'you.' You are loved by so many. Bobby, thank you so much for updating us with this same day, while-you-wait action! Your strength through this has been inspiring, too.

Yes, I was at work and checked Sarah's blog as I think we all have been every day. It's bittersweet that we got such good news on the same day Sarah passed away.

When I got off work, I went to the hospital and told Lori about Sarah. We knew it was coming but still didn't want to believe it. Then an hour later the oncologist walks in the room with the good news.

There's no rhyme or reason to any of this.

We still don't even know what to do, think or feel.

Lori: Today I am so thrilled for you. I am so very happy.

But today I am also so sad that I know you (and checked in on your blog today) only because I wrote a post about Sarah and you commented, leading me to your blog.

I'm not sad that I know of you because of it (quite the opposite), but sad that I can be so happy for you on the same day that I am so tearful for the loss of Sarah.

Take you crazy odds, Lori, and live your life. We will all be here, cheering you on.

Lori and Bobby, Oh so many emotions going on inside me all at the same time. I have been reading you for months Lori, and have been so hoping for good news from you.

Now, you can recover from this surgery and really enjoy your summer and time off from work.

I have not slept one minute, since reading about Sarah yesterday. It is so sad and I Pray that Derek will be OK. Then I came here and was worried it would be more bad news. I can't tell you how relieved I am to read this post.

Give your mind a well deserved break, from worrying about this illness all the time.

So happy for both of you. I would do a happy dance but that would not be a pretty sight!

I am so thrilled for you. I have been checking your blog as well as Sarah's regularly. To get such good news on the same day as the sad news about Sarah is very surreal.

Thinking of you, sending good thoughts.
