My Precious Friend, you have such a grasp on that very light and you allow it to pour through you with each thought and each word you write. I am just so incredibly proud of you. As for your last post...Good for you! Being thankful for each minute that we're alive doesn't mean that cancer hasn't taken something away or that we don't have the right to grieve for what was lost. If we say otherwise, it is probably being dishonest to a large extent with ourselves. It all does matter. Sure we are stronger, braver, more thoughful and more enlightened than we were before melanoma crept into our lives, but still there is somewhat of a loss of carefree happiness because of what we faced. Now I wonder what the Patron Saint of No More Friggin' Melanoma would look like? Probably blond or red hair, blue eyes and fair skin that usually burns and rarely tans. Just like you and me. (smile) Love comin' at 'cha, S.A. PS Lemme know if you ever want to go biking in Alabama. I know of a great safe place to ride.
