Aha Moment

“For a long time it seemed to me that if I could just endure a little longer and be patient, I could resume my life. But it was one disease after another. It seemed as if I was taking one step forward and then [one step] back- always an obstacle in my path to good health. Then, at last, it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life.”

Great article: http://www.cc.nih.gov/ccc/patient_education/pepubs/copechron.pdf

This is me making peace with my body.  :)

That is a very good article! It really helps to know how other people deal with chronic illness. We're all in this together. At some point in life one has to accept that one's body is going to fail. Getting over it leaves one free to live more fully.

Thanks for the posting.

Hi Joanlvh, it appears that my webserver was down for a bit, but it's all back in order now. I had a couple people test the missmelanoma@missmelanoma.com address and it is working. Hope to hear from you!
