Today's Lesson

Never take for granted a single day that you are free to walk around without an IV.
Or a day you are not forced to stay in the hospital. It is so easy to forget, isn't it? And yet the average person is so very lucky.

I often think about the days I took for granted ... that was before my cancer.

I don't take too many days for granted any more either ... or the ability to breathe a deep breath ... or not having a PICC in my arm ... or being able to do all the things I'm doing, even when I'm not happy about doing them, at least I *can*

Here's to living ::clink::
